BRAND MESSAGE

The Wiley Motel isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a hideout for the wild-hearted. Tucked away in Joshua Tree, California, Wiley embodies a no-rules, no-regrets attitude, calling to travelers who prefer the road less traveled. Inspired by old Western rebels, desert sunsets, and the need to escape the everyday, this is where you settle in, make yourself at home, and let the desert do the rest.

The motel features a restaurant & bar, a sun-soaked pool with cabanas, a desert garden, a roadside general store, and concierge services to keep your stay effortless. Wiley’s lineup of offerings and events brings the desert to life, with weekend DJs, whiskey pairings, guided Joshua Tree National Park tours, sunrise yoga, and outdoor screenings of classic Westerns under the stars.

Designing Wiley was about capturing the spirit of the desert outlaw—untamed, rebellious, and effortlessly cool. At the heart of the brand is the coyote, a symbol of freedom and wild intuition, paired with the warm hues of Joshua Tree sunsets. The aesthetic blends gritty and feminine, evoking the essence of a cowgirl outlaw—fearless, independent, and unapologetically wild. Every detail, from hand-drawn fonts to weathered textures and cheeky Western phrases, tells a story of the lawless West, where legends are made, and the sunsets never fade.
