BUILDING A RETAIL EXPERIENCE
With the launch of Pura Vida’s first ever retail store, the goal was to create an engaging space that captured the brand’s fun, beachy essence while fostering memorable in-store moments. To connect with a Gen Z audience, I designed a custom neon sign to live against a living plant wall—blending nostalgia with a fresh, modern touch, making it easy for customers to share their shopping experience with friends.
Beyond the photo-worthy feature wall, the in-store packaging needed to extend that same vibrant, immersive experience. Inspired by the brand’s signature teal and laid-back beach vibes, the packaging was thoughtfully designed—from gift boxes and gift cards to shopping bags with an extra-long ribbon that doubled as a stylish purse strap, adding a playful, wearable touch.

To celebrate the grand opening of Pura Vida’s first retail store, we put together an immersive event featuring meet and greets with our influencers, DIY stations, snacks, free products, and a laid-back space for customers to connect with the brand.
As a fun, interactive touch, I designed custom beverage cans—vibrant, playful, and perfectly on-brand—to make the experience even more memorable. These colorful cans weren’t just refreshments; they were part of the celebration, adding to the excitement and giving guests a unique way to toast to this milestone moment.
